Limestone

Full Project Coming Soon

Branding & Design

We were tasked with creating the brand identity for Limestone.

Limestone provide an advisory service for investment opportunities in Gibraltar and investment portfolio growth for HNW individuals. They place a strong focus on quality, discretion and integrity.

The brand identity explores Gibraltar's relationship with Limestone, through both its natural state and its architectural significance.

Logotype

The logotype has been based off of the typeface SAA Series F; bearing strong similarities to the original typeface used across the street signs of Gibraltar's Main Street.

This visual parallel is as a source of local relevance, promoting a uniquely Gibraltarian approach to the project.

Logomark

The logomark stems from a relief print, created through the process of imprinting acrylic paint coated limestone rock fragments on paper. The organic textures obtained through this method highlight the natural aspect of Limestone, presenting themselves as a sort of 'fingerprint', or mark of identification.

The concept ties into the brand name and is symbolic of both Gibraltar's history and geography. The result is an abstract mark that aims to spark intrigue, whilst encapsulating the brand values.

Brand Applications

Sleek, mature, high-quality and elegant, these are the key themes present across the branding and collateral.

Subtle colour contrasts work alongside embossing techniques; minimal layouts allow plenty of breathing room; and concise typographic implementation promotes clear communication.
