Summer workshop recap, 30th July 2025

Last week, we hosted a workshop at our studio for a group of local students here in Gibraltar. Our aim was to offer guidance, context, and perspective to young people exploring a future in design.

As a studio, we believe there’s a lot we can do to support students who are facing big decisions about their next steps, whether they’re about to start A-levels, choosing a university course, or already studying and unsure what comes next.

That’s exactly why we felt a responsibility to run this session, to make a positive impact where we can. We wanted to give students a real look at what life inside a design agency looks like. We talked about the work we do at Kenshō, how we approach brand identity, how our team is structured, and the different roles that exist within the studio. We shared our process, our values, and why visual storytelling and purpose-led design are central to how we work.

Throughout the session, the students were engaged, asked thoughtful questions, and brought a genuine curiosity to the room. It was encouraging to see so many already considering creative careers.

We see these kinds of sessions as a two-way opportunity. For students, it’s a chance to meet a local agency, ask questions, and hopefully walk away with more clarity and confidence. For us, it’s a way to connect with the next generation of creative talent in Gibraltar, offer guidance, and keep the door open for future conversations.

This workshop was a small step, but one we’re proud of.

We’re now looking to bring this talk into local schools so we can reach more students, especially those at key decision-making moments. If you’re a teacher or student interested in having us run a session like this for your school or group, feel free to get in touch. We’d love to keep the conversation going.
